European Integration of Ukraine: Carpathian farmers on sustainable development path

For several months, the Information Center “Green Dossier” have held discussions, meetings, and researches with the aim of finding out to what extent our Carpathian small farmers and their colleagues from neighbouring Carpathian countries are ready for cooperation within the EU. Project participants discussed what help our hosts need, which challenges Ukraine’s membership in the EU will help to address, and what barriers have to be overcome.

Representatives of the government structures of Ukraine and the EU, experts of international programs and movements, participants of the Eurointegration process were invited. During this event, you will hear from project participants, including their reflections to Green Dossier’s proposals and recommendations.

You will learn about the progress on EU integration of the Ukrainian agricultural and environmental sector from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, about the EU’s common agriculture policy perspectives from DG AGRI, possible assistance for small agriproducers from international experts, and possibilities to implement requirements of the European Green Deal in agricultural sector in the Carpathian region.
