Why 68% of Ukrainians Oppose the Completion of the Khmelnytskyi NPP

Recently the Parliament of Ukraine passed the law No. 11392, which allows the purchase of Russian equipment from Bulgaria for the completion of units 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

During the event, experts, politicians, and civil society will discuss the implications of these construction plans. Experts will also present the key findings from a sociological study on Ukrainians’ attitudes toward nuclear energy, and discuss the key technological, economic, and environmental risks associated with completing units 3 and 4 of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.
