Ukrainian Resilience is Electric: Charging, Infrastructure and Decentralised Renewables

Organisers: NGO Ecoclub, Centre for Environmental Initiatives “Ecoaction” and Transport & Environment

Format: online

Reconstruction of communities offers an opportunity to rethink the very logic of energy infrastructure: to transition from vulnerable centralised systems to decentralised renewable energy, to develop recharging infrastructure, and to ensure that communities achieve true resilience – not only against the consequences of armed attacks, but from future challenges as well.

During the event, representatives from the European Commission, the European Bank fro Reconstruction and Development, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, relevant CSOs, and the expert community will discuss:

  • The development of electric mobility and charging infrastructure in Ukraine

  • The role of solar energy, energy storage, and energy efficiency during the recovery process

  • Obstacles preventing communities from scaling up their renewable energy projects

  • Funding and support opportunities from European partners

  • Practical solutions for enhancing community energy resilience.

This event is organised by as part of the preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026.
