New government, new pace: Will Ukraine manage to accelerate reforms?

Organisers: Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, DiXi Group, Center for Economic Strategy, Institute for Analysis and Advocacy

Format: online

Ukraine continues to implement its cooperation program with the IMF and the Ukraine Plan under the Ukraine Facility, and further disbursement of financial support from international partners depends on this progress. However, the pace of reform adoption has recently remained in question, and the renewed government inherits this agenda along with all the tasks that have been left pending.

Will the new team manage to catch up on key Ukraine Plan indicators? What steps are needed in the near term to keep up the pace of cooperation with the IMF and the EU? And who in the government and parliament will be responsible for ensuring reforms don't stall again?

Join to discuss this during the launch of a new issue of the monitoring of Ukraine's fulfillment of its commitments to international partners, presented by the RRR4U consortium.

On the agenda:

  • status of IMF program implementation

  • update on the status of Ukraine Plan indicators

  • panel discussion with representatives of the Parliament and Government of Ukraine.
