Adaptation to Climate Change in Ukraine

The APENA 3 Project and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine invite to the presentation of the final results of developing the first regional climate change adaptation strategies in Ukraine. The Project experts have completed the preparation of Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Mykolaiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.

The Project team is ready to share scientists' forecasts of how the climate will change in these regions, how it will affect various sectors of the economy, what adaptation measures may be relevant, and how much their implementation will cost.

There will also be discussion panels on "Ukraine's National and Regional Climate Change Adaptation Policy on the Path to the EU" and "Climate Change Adaptation in Cities" with representatives of international institutions, mayors of cities in the pilot regions and the Covenant of Mayors - East.
