Green Jobs: From Concept to Practice

This policy brief offers the research findings as to specifics of the formation and development of the “green jobs” concept in the state policy and legislation of Ukraine and the EU. The research findings are relevant in the context of Ukraine’s reconstruction from the consequences of Russian aggression and Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

The main purpose of the policy brief is to analyse the policies and legislation of Ukraine regarding the presence of the concept or some elements of the concept of green jobs in them; to analyse Ukraine’s obligations within the framework of approximation with the EU in terms of the implementation of the concept of green jobs and their accounting; to propose ways to implement the concept of green jobs and their count in Ukraine.
