Ukrainian cities and communities development: principles, values and design

Organiser: ReThink

Format: in-person (Kyiv)

This event is a part of a series of informal meetings “Circle of Reconstruction”. This is a space for conversations about a new quality of Ukraine’s reconstruction, shaped by environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, inclusivity, and a stronger focus on design and the quality of the built environment.

ReThink brings together representatives of the public sector, business, architecture, and civil society, those who are already working on reconstruction solutions.

The aim of the series is to connect professional communities and jointly develop better approaches to reconstruction, from working with resources and materials to urban design, participation, and the overall quality of space.

Speakers:

  • Hanna Bondar, Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Urban Planning, Improvement, and Land Relations within Built-up Areas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee.

  • Oleksandr Stolovyi, architect and researcher, partner at Archimatika.

  • Secret guest.

  • Moderator – Roman Puchko, co-founder and director of ReThink, board member of RISE Ukraine coalition and BUBB platform.
