The Centre for Economic Strategy cordially invites you to participate in in the presentation of the April issue of our regular publication «The recovery spending watchdog». Experts will traditionally review the most important news from the recovery sector and analyse public spending on recovery projects over the past month. The special topic of the event is residential recovery.

According to the “Russia Will Pay” project, as of the end of 2023, Russians have caused $58.9 billion in damage to the housing stock. The total number of destroyed or damaged facilities is about 250,000 buildings. To rebuild housing, the Ukrainian government has launched several programmes – VidnovyDim, eVidnovlennya and others.

At the event, speakers will discuss how housing reconstruction is financed and what the state policy in this area should be. Relevant civil society initiatives, government officials and representatives of organisations that support internally displaced people will participate in the discussion.
