Monitoring the implementation of the IMF programme and EU assistance under the Ukraine Facility

Organisers: DiXi Group, Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, Center for Economic Strategy, Institute for Analysis and Advocacy

Format: hybrid (in-person and online)

Ukraine efficiently and promptly fulfilled its commitments to international partners in 2022–2024, as any delays would have resulted in postponed assistance from international partners, posing economic risks. However, by 2024, some structural benchmarks were deferred due to implementation delays. One of the indicators under Ukraine’s Plan was completed later than scheduled, causing delays in receiving EU funds under the Ukraine Facility.

Join a new presentation of the Monitoring Report on the Implementation of the IMF Program and EU Assistance under the Ukraine Facility by the #RRR4U consortium. The presentation will provide insights into Ukraine's progress in meeting its commitments to key international donors and the risks of delays. Specifically, speakers will discuss the performance of Ukraine’s Plan indicators for Q4 2024 and preparations for the seventh review under the IMF program.

One of the critical reforms necessary for improving government expenditure efficiency and fostering economic growth is the public investment management (PIM) reform. This reform is tied to several structural benchmarks of the current IMF program. We propose to dedicate a separate discussion to this reform during the event.
