The Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue is an annual meeting format that brings together Ukrainian, European and American stakeholders around topical issues of energy security in Ukraine and the region.
In the context of Russia's prolonged aggression against Ukraine, our energy system repeatedly faces new challenges. Just like on the battlefield, the enemy's tactics for destroying energy infrastructure are constantly evolving, and Ukrainian specialists must become increasingly resourceful in protecting energy facilities, establishing new power sources, and ensuring that consumers have light and heat.
Over the past year, we have already found and even attempted to implement some solutions—both at the national and local levels. However, the path to complete energy independence and resilience is still ahead.
Key topics at the Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue 2024 include:
Strategies to counter threats in the energy sector and mitigate risks
Measures to enhance the security and reliability of energy facilities and networks amid climate challenges
Collaboration with EU countries: a joint action plan to strengthen energy security and resilience across the region
Cooperation within ENTSO-E: reinforcing interconnections, increasing, and optimizing electricity imports
Generators of solutions: what Ukrainian businesses and communities have done to survive the winter and the lessons learned
