Across Europe and beyond, growing frustration with the system - and lack of positive vision for future change - has led many to turn toward authoritarian leaders who offer the illusion of certainty and control. Ukraine has shown that in the deepest crisis, tapping into the collective intelligence of its citizens helps to forge a new vision and defend the country. What can we learn from Ukraine to rethink institutions and develop creative solutions to open them up to citizens?
In this discussion, speakers will explore:
How do you facilitate the co-creation of a new vision for society by bringing different groups together? What tools have been created and tested in Ukraine?
What is the mindset and the values that are embraced by Ukrainians to re-imagine the future?
What role does a future-oriented thinking play in the country’s defence and forging a post-war vision for a New Ukraine?
Speakers:
Victor Liakh, President of East Europe Foundation; tech & social innovation leader
Fulco Treffers, Architect and Founder of Ro3kvit: Urban Coalition for Ukraine
